Flipkart strengthens collaboration with UP Government to onboard MSMEs,  GI, and ODOP sellers at International Trade Show 2025

Flipkart, India’s homegrown e-commerce marketplace, has deepened its collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh’s Department of MSME and the state’s flagship One District One Product (ODOP) initiative by participating in the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025. The five-day event, being held from 25-29 September 2025, was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji bringing together local entrepreneurs, artisans, exporters, buyers, and industry stakeholders to showcase and promote the state’s rich and colourful range of products.


As part of its ongoing collaboration, Flipkart has set up a dedicated stall at UPITS 2025 to onboard MSMEs, ODOP, and GI-tagged sellers onto its marketplace. Building on its association with the ODOP program since 2020, Flipkart has been digitally empowering artisans, weavers, and local entrepreneurs across Uttar Pradesh through dedicated microsites, capacity-building initiatives, and digital tools, enabling them to access pan-India markets and drive sustainable growth. Through its participation at UPITS 2025, Flipkart reaffirms its dedication to empowering local communities while safeguarding and celebrating Uttar Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage .

Following the remarkable success of two consecutive editions, UPITS 2025 is set to be even bigger, further solidifying Uttar Pradesh’s position as a leading global sourcing hub.
